Home prices continued to rise across the region in 2024. Wood County had the highest average price, while Paulding County had the most significant year-over-year increase. August was the most popular time to list and also had the highest average sale price. Conversely, January had the lowest prices and the fewest listings. The majority of homes were sold in Lucas, the most populous county in Northwest Ohio.
While the area as a whole had no change in time on market, the data is quite varied when examining individual counties. Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Lucas, Sandusky, and Williams counties experienced less time on the market in 2024. Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Seneca, and Wood counties took longer to sell on average. Seneca County had the largest DOM increase, up 20.7% over the last 12 months– while Ottawa and Paulding counties had the longest overall time on the market with an average of 77 days.
